Traditional Timber Staff and Parting beads

  • Traditional parting bead profile fitted to original parting bead groove. Pile carrier section integrated to accomodate weather stripping.
  • Existing staff bead replaced by new timber staff bead incorprating the Weatherfin pile.
  • Manufactured from high quality, kiln dried wood.
  • Height of Weatherfin pile weather-stripping (see Material Specification below) optimised to eliminate air infiltration and allow low friction sliding.
  • Supplied natural or in white primer to be painted in to match existing finishes by your decorator.

Mid & Bottom Rail

  • Grooves routed to sash mid rail and bottom and top rail.
  • Pile carriers installed.
  • Weatherfin selected to accomadate varying widths of gaps.

High Performance Weather Seal

  • Manufactured from polypropylene, includes fin that stands 1.5mm proud of pile.
  • Pile heights to suit a range of gaps. 
  • Silicone treated to improve water repellency and is ultra violet stabilised.
  • Meets all requirements of BS 7386: 1990 and conforms to EN 29002, one of the most demanding European Quality Standards.
